Why Bloom?
Bloom offers evidence-based ketamine-assisted therapy programs to help you develop new thought patterns to ease mental health challenges such as anxiety, PTSD, depression or addiction.
We are one of the very few clinics in Alberta that employ two important ways of using psychedelic medicine for your healing journey; the psychedelic experience and the psycholytic experience. While most other clinics offer offer the psychedelic experience followed by ordinary state of consciousness integration, Bloom goes a step further to ensure you're getting the best treatment possible.
Our process for most patients includes a psychedelic experience followed by a psycholytic experience that supports integration of your psychedelic experience.
The psycholytic is a lower dose of the medicine that allows you to experience a non-ordinary state of consciousness while also being able to stay in the present moment, thus able to consciously process with your therapist. The lower dose allows you to step away from your ingrained defenses to access and address material that may have been challenging to process in traditional therapy, allowing you the space to observe and process this material in a different way.

Who We Help
Our clients are typically individuals who have tried a number of therapies and pharmaceuticals to help manage and heal from symptoms of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and other mental health concerns. They may have diagnosis (or multiple diagnoses) for conditions such as: depression, anxiety, MDD (Major Depressive Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), cPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), AUD (Alcohol Use Disorder), SUD (Substance Use Disorder), or bipolar. This is not an exhaustive list, or you might not have any diagnosis, so if this doesn't fit for you, we encourage you to reach out to us to discuss.
Ultimately, our clients often feel like they have tried other routes and nothing has worked.
Our team of registered therapists, which includes practitioners from both psychology and social work, offers both Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAT) programs and traditional therapy to help you in the way you need.
Our immersive, in-person Ketamine Assisted Therapy program is the fastest track to help you reach deep breakthroughs and heal the root of your pain. Combining the power of advanced therapeutic tools with the neuroplasticity and neurogenesis promoted by psychedelic medicines our aim is for you to thrive and live a full life.
